You may want to provide financial incentives to your residents based on the way they pay and receive their bills. This can be done in Mabdeck in the form of a financial adjustment.
Financial Adjustments can be set up on a Billing Profile. To set one up, navigate through the Add Billing Profile wizard to the Financial Adjustments section. You can find out how to do this here. If you've already set up your billing profile, you can edit the Billing Profile to add in a Financial Adjustment.
On the Add Financial Adjustment page, select the adjustment you would like to add. You can select from the following options
- Activation Fee - A fee will automatically be added to the account when the account is moved into a property.
- Direct Debit Discount - A resident will receive a discount if they have a Direct Debit set up on their account in Mabdeck
- E-Billing Discount - A resident will receive a discount if they have a Consumer Dashboard account set up in Mabdeck.
You can choose the financial adjustment amount, as well as the frequency with which this will be added to the account.
Complete the VAT Rate and Name fields. It is possible to add the name of the adjustment to the statement template, so this may be something which is relevant to both you and the resident.
Select your Active From date. The Financial Adjustment will only be charged or discounted if it is active over the period that the statement is raised.
Click Add Adjustment to save the adjustment to the Billing Profile. This will appear in the list of financial adjustments on the billing profile when changes are saved.
