Please find below the release notes for release 2023.6
A number of the features in this release aim to reduce the number of database change
tickets which are required. Users will be able to delete supply points and properties
themselves, without requiring Cameron or Tanya's assistance! They will also be able to amend
the supply type of a supply point which has been created. These processes account for the
majority of our database changes. Of course, there are some restrictions in place to prevent
this (if you've generated a statement, we won't let you delete that property), but it should help to
make everyone's Mabdeck experience that little bit easier.
Our colleagues at FIT have been working on the ability to sign up to the consumer
dashboard using an existing Google account, which will also go live in 2023.6. If a resident has
a GMail Account, they will be able to choose to sign up to their online account via Google,
where they will be required to enter their unique sign up code and postcode. For future logins,
they'll just need to click to sign in with Google, to get into their account.
Following feedback from Support and our clients at Nottingham City Council, we have
implemented the ability to add a follow up reminder to a note. When a user adds a note to an
account, they can choose to follow up on a certain date, and select a user to receive the follow
up. The follow up notifications will generate on the date that the follow up is due, and can be
managed on the follow up page.
Although you won't be able to see these changes, a lot of unused and redundant code has
been removed from Mabdeck as part of this release, as we've had a chance to focus on
cleaning up some of the code. We hope to focus more on this in the future too, just generally to
improve the Mabdeck backend and make running the code more efficient.
We have also focused on fixing small number bugs, and adding some smaller improvements
so that we can improve the user experience for existing functionality
