General Overview & Impact
In this release, work has been completed on the Orbit API, to allow client-specific
subscribed events to be sent in 5-minute batches to the subscription webhook. These will
include balance updates and valve state change events which ultimately allows the user
to track what is happening on any given hub or multiple hubs at anytime on the Orbit API.
Furthermore, work has been completed around associating an account with a
payment card for EE Monitor so that the payment card is added to the account during the
association process in EE Manager. Additionally, support for Heat & Hot
Water supply type has been implemented in EE Manager so that reads coming from heat
sources set up on this supply type will be received.
We have also implemented the ability to set external reference types on accounts so
that these references can be used for third-party integrations. An example of
where this has been implemented to be used is a part of the work done by the FIT team
to add these external references to the Account Balance report so that there is a unique
reference within the reports that are sent automatically via transfer servers in Mabdeck.
Other work completed by the FIT team includes the addition of a generate invoice
modal whereby a user can select the type of invoice they wish to generate - for the
account balance or for a specific set of transactions. From this release, there
will also be the option to set a currency for Saudi Riyal, so that our customers in Saudi
Arabia can be billed through Mabdeck.
We are currently working on upgrading Mabdeck to the newest version of .NET, which
will help us to maintain ISO27001. As part of the ongoing work to upgrade Mabdeck,
there are some more changes in this release which will help towards that. Although you
won't be able to see these changes themselves, be assured that the code is being
tweaked and improved in the background, and we hope your front end experience will
become a lot smoother as a result of this too.
