General Overview & Impact
Hubs
In this release we have implemented the Hub Replacement form for Secure which, when
accessed, will allow users to add details of a new hub and, when complete, will
immediately end the previous hub as required. This will also work in PAYG mode. We
have also started working on standardising the database structure for hubs. This includes
a new 'Wallet' structure, so that all hub balances and debts will be handled similarly in the
database.
Function Apps Upgrade
As part of this release we have upgraded some of our function apps to use the isolated
worker model. Some of the upgrades include:
Direct Debit App Upgrade
Statement Actions App Upgrade
GoCardless Webhooks App Upgrade
These changes are done to the backend and frontend functionality will not be affected.
Orbit
With our current integration with Element IoT, to communicate with a device we require
the Device ID and Interface ID which are details that many users would not know.
Following an investigation it is possible for us to implement using the EUI instead. The
EUI is a reference on the physical device and Element IoT, similar to a serial number, that
identifies each specific supply controller. We have updated both the backend and
frontend functionality to ensure that Device ID and Interface ID are removed where
required, and replaced with EUI.
General Improvements
We have added a new supply type for 'Cooling' to Mabdeck, so that we can bill for
Cooling supplies.
As part of the ThermaReach Integration we have updated the Element IoT Robot to
read more headers, so we are able to successfully process readings received via
Element IoT. These new headers will be replacing the existing headers as all reading
will be using a new Payload format.
