General Overview & Impact
Function Apps Upgrade
In this release we have upgraded some of our function apps to use the isolated worker
model. Some of the upgrades include:
-Upgrade the Transaction Robots App to use the Isolated Worker Model and .NET10
-Upgrade PowerBI Refresher App to Use the Isolated Worker Model and .NET10
-Upgrade Reads Processor App to Use the Isolated Worker Model and .NET10
-Upgrade Credit Control Function App to use .NET10
These changes are done to the backend and frontend functionality will not be affected.
Orbit: ThermaReach Integration
We have completed the implemention a new solution into Orbit called ThermaReach.
ThermaReach operates as a LoraWan supply controller and is communicated with via
ElementIoT. As part of the work we have added added the Solutions for Thermareach to
the OrbitAPI database via data migration allowing it to communicate with the API.
Functionality has also been added onto Mabdeck for ThermaReach to have it's own
supply controller so correct communication can take place with the API when it comes to
valve control.
Hubs using the ThermaReach solution can now be adding to OrbitAPI and have full
functionality with all existing Orbit features.
General Improvements
-We have also made changes to the Readings table Readings API by removing some
of the obsolete columns that were used for the old validation process.
-Work has also been done to allow statements to be reversed in bulk on the Accounts
Page in the Statement and Invoices section allowing for multiple statements to be
reversed at the same time
-The logic for handling Stripe Subscriptions when they are linked to New Consumer
Dashboard Accounts has no been improved. Active subscriptions will now need to be
cancelled before-hand, removing an issue that restricted creation of new Stripe
subscriptions on new consumer dashboard accounts when the same email is used.
-The view for GoCardless Direct Debits on Accounts also has improved Logic.
Previously, there would be restrictions if GoCardless was not the first Payment
Provider set up for a client. This will no longer be a problem going forward.
-We have also refactored some areas of Mabdeck, including the unused Operate
Supply controller areas on the Property and Supply pages. These will no longer be
present
