General Overview & Impact
Account Search
In this release, major improvements have been made with the account search and filtering
function. Users will now be able to filter and search according to more specific criteria, meaning
that it is now easier to find a specific account in the list. (More details are given in the user guide at the bottom of this article)
A big portion of this release consists of work done to upgrade Mabdeck to .NET8.
Other items in this released include the addition of a validation message for smaller meter
reads processed by data robots to prevent the addition of inaccurate meter reads via other
methods. Another change included in the release is to prevent accounts in PAYG mode being
moved out of a property, thus preventing any negative knock-on effects. Work was also done
on improving the configuration setup of direct debits, where now, a user can select which direct
debit robot they want to use on the set up of a direct debit form.
Additionally, there were several improvements made on the Orbit API which will allow for a
more streamlined user experience when the functionality used going forward.
Work on the upcoming Friendly Disconnect and Emergency Credit features continues- this will
remain hidden on the frontend until the work is completed.
