The reporting section of Mabdeck allows you to gather data on your networks, properties, meters and accounts to analyse and review your information more easily. Reports can be set up and run ad hoc when required, or scheduled to generate on a regular basis.
Whether you want to check out your meter readings, or analyse payments made on a specific network it is quick and simple to generate the data in Mabdeck!
There are a number of reports which can be used to download data from the system, and we are always adding to this list! For information on available reports and what they do, check out our article here.
Setting up a report configuration
All reports can be managed from the Configure and Run page on Mabdeck. This can be accessed via the reports tab on the side of your screen.
Click Add Report to configure a report to run. Here you can select your report type, and specify how granular you would like the report to be. You may want to run the report for all networks on a client, or for a specific property. Options will vary depending on the report type you have selected.
Once you have set your report parameters, click Add to save the report to Mabdeck, it will appear in the list once added.
Running a Report
Once a report has been set up, it can be run in Mabdeck whenever this specific report is required. Click Run next to the report you have set up to kick off report generation.
Depending on the report type which you are running, you may be asked to enter a date range, or a run "up to" date. Select your dates on the form which appears, then click Run.
Downloading a Report
Running a report in Mabdeck will automatically direct you to our View & Download page, where you can view new reports, and download historic reports too. Click View & Download on the reports section of Mabdeck to access this page.
Reports may take a minute or two to generate (it's usually a lot faster than this) depending on how much data you're trying to bring back. Refresh the View & Download page if your report doesn't appear immediately.
Click the Download icon next to the report to download it to your computer. All reports will generate as a .csv file.
What next?
You can schedule a report to run if you require data from Mabdeck on a regular basis. Check out our help article on how to do this here!
