A meter should be added to Mabdeck so that you can bill consumption, receive readings and track the data coming in from the meter. A meter is added to a supply point on a property but it can be often the case following data validation that a meter can demise a fault such as majorly high consumption, no consumption, no readings or reverse consumption. This is when a meter tends to become faulty and you may want to mark the meter as faulty on Mabdeck for record purposes.
Marking a Meter as Faulty
Navigate to the System Configuration page and locate Hardware and Supplies
Search and locate the faulty meter in question via the Hardware and Supplies section
Click Show on the details area to open up the supply information to the property
Locate and navigate the faulty meter in question and click the 'Mark as Faulty' button
This will then allow you to add a reason for marking the meter as faulty on Mabdeck. Typical comments such as no readings, reverse temperature differences, reverse readings and no readings could be entered but bare in mind this is specifically the fault to the individual meter.
Once you have entered your reason please click the save button
This will store your reason in Mabdecks database for future viewing and approval in the future. These reasons can also be found on the Meter Read Report on the PowerBi page under the faulty meters sheet.
