Meter Manufacturers – mySycous Support

It is now a requirement that a meter manufacturer is added alongside a meter on Mabdeck in the Hardware and Supplies section. the manufacturer code is - as it says on the tin - a way of identifying the meter manufacturer when we look at the raw read data received from your meters. The code helps Mabdeck to identify the correct meter, and the correct way to ingest the data. It also means that where different manufacturers have used the same serial number, we won't run into a problem when trying to identify which reads come from which meter, as we will always know who the meter manufacturer is, and that information will be included alongside read information, and stored in Mabdeck so that they can be paired up with ease.

Without a meter manufacturer added, we can't search for readings in the readings database, so you won't be able to see any readings for a meter in Mabdeck with no manufacturer details.

We have put together a list of commonly used meters to help you choose the correct manufacturer code. Please note, this list is not exhaustive, and only represents the most commonly used meter manufacturers used and inherited by Sycous. Any meters not found on the below lists please contact support@mabdeck.com for further assistance.

PLEASE NOTE, IF THE SUPPLY POINT HAS A HUB ATTACHED WHICH IS USED TO DELIVER READINGS INTO MABDECK (E.G. A SECURE HUB OR GURU HUB) THE ASSOCIATED METER MANUFACTURER CODE SHOULD BE UNK FOR UNKOWN.
